The Best Clover Leaf

In a world where people should know how to stand by their own feet and trust no one but themselves, to meet someone you could treat as your best friend is not so easy. In fact, some people even say that a best friend is like a four leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have. Moreover, I believe that before you can consider someone your best friend, together, you should have shared experiences which nobody values as much as both of you do.

I maybe one of the lucky ones who have been gifted such a nice best friend and she is Phoebe Mae Ilustre. During our four years in high school, we have been through everything together. With all the things we have encountered, I can say that with her, I could not ask for anyone better. We had misunderstandings before, or there were times, we get annoyed with each other, but I am happy to say that we never ever fought each other and I do not think we actually can. I love my best friend not only because she has been there for me through heart-aches, family problems, girl drama, etc., but also for the reason that only she can make me feel like I have the greatest friend and only to her I can give the best love for a best friend.
Yes, fate is really good for both of us since without intent, we both passed BS Statistics at the same campus. I took Stat because when I consulted my parents, this is at the top of their list. On the other hand, Phoebe would like to take BS Biology or BS Computer Science. Well, it is true that even though we are best friends, we do not have quite a couple of things in common. The only thing people say Phoebe and I are the same in is that we are both into journalism and public speaking. However, instead of facing college life together, it seems that there has been a gap between us ever since we stepped the university. If she would be reading this, I am sure she would say that I am pretty much exaggerating but I know that deep inside her, she has been feeling the same way as I do. I am sure about that since she always tells me that she misses me and I really hope she knew how much I miss her too. Actually, we often times try to schedule bonding moments but they rarely do not fail. I wish we can be classmates like before so we can always be together. There were actually several times we wanted to turn back time and be in high school again. But we have to accept that we are already finished in that stage and all these things happening now are merely testing our friendship. Thus, I shall not give up. I hope she also won’t. We should together erase the gap between us. I believe in our friendship, hence, I know we can pass this test.
I admit that I really am upset for we cannot anymore do some things we used to do before, but with such a plenty of memories we treasured, we know that we can make some more.
